Oh no, Mom is singing again...
The kids say that I have a song for every phrase.
This morning, Dearra said "the first time"...
Before she could finish the sentence I started singing, "the first time ever I saw your face". When I got to the end of "I thought the sun rose in your eyes", the part where the voice goes all over the place, well my voice went places that no voice should ever go.
So I stopped singing and said, "wow that was bad."
Dearra rolled her eyes...
"In fact," I said, "my voice went where no voice has gone before."
And so I started singing the theme to "Star Trek"...
That's when they all ran for cover!
